During her Level 3 training Ruth put her Level 2 skills to good use by working part-time at Holme Lacy House Hotel (Warner Leisure Hotels) in Herefordshire. It was here she developed her knowledge and experience, quickly growing in the confidence which has helped further her career.

Having successfully completed her Level 3 NVQ in 2007, Ruth went on to work in upmarket salons in Gloucester, Monmouth and eventually Cheltenham. In each of the salons, Ruth would work alongside a team of hairdressers but as lead therapist, she was responsible for the smooth running of the beauty side of the business.  

​

In 2010 Ruth met her partner and moved to Cheltenham. She accepted a role at the stunningly beautiful and newly refurbished Ellenborough Park Spa.  She was part of a small team who helped to establish the spa, being the face of an exciting new venture.

​

In 2012, an opportunity arose to become self-employed. It meant working from an elegant Regency building in Cheltenham, already an established professional hair and beauty salon with an excellent reputation. 

​

Over the next four and a half years, Ruth developed the business and her reputation eventually deciding to  combine the birth of her first child with the opportunity to establish herself at home in Prestbury.

​

Ruth is fully insured and continues to develop her professional skills in order to maintain her own very high standards. Quite specialist, Ruth has completed the Dr Vodder Manual Lymphatic Drainage & Combined Decongestive Therapy ll & lll course (more information on the MLD page), the art of face & body sugaring & the Nouveau Lashes training.
